An authentic local experience! Watching chefs scale, cut my fish and grill over charcoal in the alley way garden. Fish of the day is fresh with many options such as sea bass, sea bream, sardines, sole and more. Inside and outside were completely full at midday so get here early for a table. €16 for fresh fish which came with salad, bread and boiled potatoes, beer and a 250ml wine. Not bad for lunch. The food is excellent 👌 It is well prepared, cooked just right and not overcooked to ensure the food is not dry but still soft and tender. It is seasoned well to ensure that it is not overly salty but just right. The food is good value for money. The seating is limited and is not the most comfortable if you are sitting outside. But these are the least of your worries when you are enjoying the food.

Not sure i want people to know about this place. The food was amazing, not expensive and plenty of it. Some lineups but we got in right away.

We had Big Large prawns followed by cheese with Portuguese bread for our starter, super tasty also...

Get to this restaurant early, because there are ques all the way up the street, to eat here. We got here as it opened for lunch, as we walked by from the beach back to our air b'n'b. My wife is Portuguese and fancied some fresh fish for lunch, we found this place by chance. And I can assure you its the best, simple, super delicious, super tasty no frills fresh from the sea yummy fish. And the price is so fair.
My wife says the polvo, octopus salad she had was incredible.
I choose the succulent Swordfish, it was a big portion, it was served with tomato, lettuce an onion salad and new potatoes, in salad dressing. Really really good,
The Fish was expertly cooked. Delicious 😋, cooked on open coals.

Walked past many local spots but after a few recommendations and smelling the grill we knew we had to stop. Absolutely incredible! The best salmon and sole fish I’ve ever had! If I’m ever back in Sesimbra, I will definitely come back. Oh and that octopus salad was so good too! Will remember this stop for years, thank you! Come early if you want to eat as a line up forms quickly after they open for lunch.

Was recommended to us by a local - fantastic spot. I'm assuming starters are standard and they just serve it to you regardless. Choose your fish from the board and pay for what you eat (including the starters). Cosy atmosphere, amazing fish and would definitely visit again (go early as there was a constant line).

Great to experience that chefs are cooking fishes in the grill on the street. Best fishes on the planet! Great place to eat, and prices were very cheap. For big steak of fish 8-10€. Recomend also potatoes, salad and cheese which they bring you. Everything fresh and delicious. Arrive little bit earlier because there are lines for the evenings. 10/10

Their specialty is grilled fish—they have the best sardines I've ever had! The place is a family business with a long tradition, which is why it feels very authentic. The atmosphere is also very nice.

Amazing fresh fish. Even if you don't have Portuguese don't be afraid of coming to this pace, you will manage. Excellent quality for the price. 5 days in Sesimbra and we are repeating this restaurant for dinner. Amazing.

Tasca do Isaías stands out from the crowd, hands down the best grilled fish I have ever had. This is a traditional 'tasca', not a posh place by any means. However food is so good we went back the following evening for more. This place is a must when in Sesimbra: everything we ordered was delicious, service was fast and friendly, and it was all pretty cheap.

Simple no frills delicious grilled fish. Just ask what they recommend and you can’t go wrong. We ate here twice during our 3 night stay. We got the dorada, the black fish, snapper and the razor clams - all consistently amazing. The staff were fun, we loved the atmosphere. We got in before the rush at around 7:30 and we’re able to get a seat outside.

The place is very typical, local Portuguese seafood restaurant. They let you select dish from their catches and put them on display. Their specialty is grilled seafood. The service is nice and quick and the staffs are friendly. The prices are very pleasant and fair. The place located near center. Completely recommend and will be back for sure whenever we are in Sesimbra.
